Operations Officer

We are seeking an organised and self-driven operations officer to join a fast-paced organisation, working within the Operations Team ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly. This placement would be a 3-6 months contract, with the potential to be increased further or even permanent if you are the right fit for the organisation.
The suitable candidate must be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and an outstanding business intellect.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct daily company administrative processes and procedures
  • Report to and assist senior management in daily tasks and duties
  • Analyse and maintain operational data
  • Help develop improved business functionality that increases profits
  • Communicate with management teams to confirm execution of company processes
  • Help ensure compliance with best business practices throughout organisation
  • Contribute to innovation of new products and services
  • Maintain positive client relationships

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in operations preferred but not necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and other operational software
  • Adept problem solver and decision maker
  • Excellent communicator both orally and written
  • Diligent and proactive
  • Must have organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Respectful of deadlines
  • Must an ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments simultaneously
